New on Anglers.is - Vididalsá River.  Vídidalsá River is one of Island´s classic rivers with perfect fly water and a reputation for producing exeptionally large salmon. It is located about 230 km from Reykjavík and is fished with only 8 rods.

River Straumfjardara – new on anglers.is

Straumfjardara River is a new River on the list of Salmon rivers on anglers.is 

Straumfjardara is a salmon river located on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in the West Iceland. With water supplied from two mountain lakes and smaller springs along its run, coming together in a riverbed of 12 km which is accessible for the salmon to run in to and spawn, as well as char and sea trout in the lower part of the river.

River Jokla – new on anglers.is

Jokla river has just been added to our list of Rivers here on anglers.is - Jokla is a thrilling and complex blend between an experiment and reality. In the northeast outpost of Heraðsfloi, Throstur Ellidason and his company Strengir, have set up a smolt releasing scheme aimed at turning a former huge muddy glacial river and its tributaries into salmon fishing luminaries.
