Fishing on the south coast of Iceland:
Spring usually comes earlier in south part of Iceland, than in north part of the Island. Our fishing season start on April 1st and fishing for Brown trout, Sea trout and Char is often very good in the first weeks of the season. We can offer you some of the best rivers and lakes in south Iceland.
Here is an example of how a custom made fishing trip might look like:
Varma River: Fished for 1 day. Accommodation at a cabin/guesthouse close by.
Bruara River and Hola River: Fished for 2 days. Accommodation at a lodge/cottage close by.
Lake Heidarvatn/Lake thingvellir: Fished for 2-3 days. Accommodation at lake lodge.
