Salmon season in Iceland starts in June and prime time for most rivers is from arround July  10th to August 25th. Most salmon rivers in Iceland are fly fishing rivers but few rivers allow spin fishing and bait fishing.  In some salmon rivers in Iceland you will also have the chance to catch other species as well, Brown trout, arctic char and sea trout.
