The Jökla salmon & trout fishing area is a combined fishery involving five rivers located in north east of Iceland. The rivers are Fögruhlíðará, Kaldá, Laxá, Fossá as well as the Jökla river. It only takes about five minutes to drive from one river to the other. The five rivers are very stable in terms of water level.
