The past few weeks we have had few new rivers listed on anglers.is. Among them are salmon rivers like Mýrarkvisl, Brynjudalsa, Laxa in Dolum and Laxa in Refasveit. All of them are very good river, rivers that is worth visiting. I like to mention one river especially, River Laxa in Refasveit.

River Laxa in Refasveit is a 3 rod, self catering river in west Iceland. It has been a well kept secret for a long time but now there are new era, new oufitters are controling the river and know is the right time to try to get permits in the river.

Laxa in Refasveit is a medium sized river that has about 15 km passable for the salmon that start entering the river, late June. Last summer was a record summer when 470 salmon was caught. On average about 320 salmon has been caught on 3 rods.
