Fishing tours from Reykjavik – Most tourist that come to Iceland spend big part of their time in south west Iceland, close to Reykjavik. In that area we have many good rivers and lakes, both brown trout, arctic char and salmon rivers and lakes. Anglers.is offers fishing trips and day tours for anglers that are staying in the Reykjavik area. We offer tours that are suitable for both beginners and those who are experience anglers. Included in our tours are fishing permits for the river or lake we are going to. Also all necessary fishing gear, transport and professional guide while fishing. Duration of our day tours are from 6-10 hours. Midway through the day, we take a short lunch break from fishing. Lunch can be provided.
When you book our tour you will be asked if you want to fish with fly, spinner or even bait. Many rivers in Iceland are fly only. If anglers want some real challenge, we offer fishing trips to some really good highland rivers which sometimes require some hiking for anglers. Our standard day tours are for rivers and lakes that have brown trout and arctic char in them. During the main season we offer also salmon tours. Prices for salmon fishing are more expensive than for trout fishing, so salmon tours cost more than a standard tour.
Many of the rivers we take anglers to are close to many great sights, such as Geyser, Gullfoss Waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. We can add some sight seeing to your day tour, just let us know. If you are only here in Iceland for few days, combining fishing and sight seeing tour from Reykjavik is something for you.
