Fishing and golf trip in Iceland in 2026

A journey to Iceland — the land of fire and ice — offers a truly unique adventure, where dramatic landscapes and endless daylight set the stage for an unforgettable fishing and golf experience. Imagine six days immersed in pure Icelandic nature: three days on great Icelandic golf courses framed by volcanoes, geysers and glaciers, and three days chasing Arctic Char and Brown Trout in gin-clear rivers or lakes.

During the summer months, the sun never truly sets. Under this magical 24-hour daylight, you can tee off at midnight with golden light stretching across moss-covered lava fields. Iceland’s golf courses are among the most scenic on earth, with views of the North Atlantic, distant snow-capped peaks, and rolling green fairways sculpted by ancient volcanic activity. Each course offers a distinct challenge — wind, rugged beauty, and the feeling of being at the edge of the world.

After three days of golf, the focus shifts from fairways to rivers. Iceland’s pristine waters are renowned for their purity and abundance of wild fish. You will spend the days fishing private rivers and lakes, focusing on Arctic Char and Brown trout but if you are interested in Atlantic Salmon, Iceland is the perfect place to target the rare, but popular Silver bullet!  The experience is both peaceful and exhilarating — standing knee-deep in a river, the air cool and fresh, waiting for the unmistakable tug of a rising fish beneath the surface.

Whether swinging a club beneath a glacier or reeling in a shimmering Arctic char under the midnight sun, this Icelandic journey combines the best of both worlds — sport, solitude, and the raw, untamed beauty of the land of fire and ice.

A great time to travel to Iceland for fishing and golf, is from early June and into middle of August. We customize all our trips and this option fits groups from 2-8 persons.
