Today is April 1st. It is the first day of the fishing season here in Iceland. First few weeks of the season are all about Brown Trout, Char and Sea trout fishing. The Covid Situation is good in Iceland. In February and March we saw nearly no new cases of Covid in Iceland, but now we see between 4 and 10 cases each day on the whole Island. Very few anglers that do not live in Iceland, are fishing in Iceland at the moment. We hope to see more of you here soon. If you have been vaccinated, or if you can proof that you have had covid19, you can get easily to Iceland – just bring your certificate.

In June our salmon season starts here in Iceland and prime time for salmon, trout and char is in July and August. If you plan to come to Iceland later this year, please contact us and we will help you set up a great trip.

Here are few pictures from earlier today.
