Hallá is fast flowing and rocky in the lower part, but the upper reaches are mostly slow flowing with cut-bank pools, ideal for fly- fishing with light tackle. Only fished with 2 rods per day and anglers stay in a nice self-catering cottage.
- Tungufljot, salmon river – Tungufljot is a very beautiful river in Iceland where you can get good catches in beautiful surroundings with the waterfall Faxi as the crown. The salmon area is below the waterfall. Fished with max 4 rods on the west bank, the salmon area is one of the most beautiful in Iceland. The main pool is the waterfall pool, but the canyon below and the area below the canyons gives also good number of fish, each year.
