Straumar Junction pool
Location: Appr. 85 km from Reykjavik. West Iceland.
Season: June 5th to Sept 5th.
Extent: Few hundered meters.

Average salmon catch: Over 300 salmon pr. summer.
Guides: Available.
Lodge: Self service but full service is available
Notes: Fly only June and July. Spinner also allowed in August. Salmon over 70cm should be released. 5 salmon quota pr. rod pr. day.
Very nice self catering lodge is included when you fish Straumar Junction pool, but it is possible to get full service at the lodge. Prime time in this area is from around June 20 – early August.
