Terms and conditions

Anglers.is is owned by an Icelandic tour and travel company named R&R slf. When you book/reserve a holiday trip through Anglers.is, the contract is between you/client and R&R slf.

1.From the moment you book and confirm your trip via email or telephone together with deposit payment or full payment, your contract with R&R slf /anglers.is is legally binding. Minimum deposit, 10% of total cost, is required for all trips, packages and day tours. Deposits are to be paid, no later than 14 days after booking is confirmed.

2.Payments – Payment must be made in full, at least 7 days before first day of a fishing or holiday trip, if there has not been agreed otherwise. For day tours, minimum deposit of 30% of total payment must be made in advance. Deposits for day tours are non-refundable. For package trips, minimum deposit of 30% of total payment must be made in advance. Payments should be made with bank transfer or Credit/debit Card, through a Secured payment link. If paid with Credit card, 2,22% fee can be added to the total payment. Payments can be made in our local currency, ISK or in USD, Euros and GBP.

On the issued invoice, information on due dates and amount of payments will be stated. R&R slf reserves the right to add interest to invoice if payment are not made on given dates.

3. Cancellation policy – Refunds on fishing licenses will only be given in the unlikely event of a cancellation by us, due to unsafe condition or other deciding factors.

Refunds on guiding and day tours will be made in full, if cancelled 60 days prior to date of guiding/tour, except for the deposits. If Cancelled between 30 and 60 days from given date, 50% will be refunded. Cancellation within 30 days prior to trip, no refunds will be made.

Refunds on accommodation are fully made, if cancelled at least 18 days prior to trip. No refunds, if cancelled within 18 days of a trip.

Refunds on package trips:

1.Trips booked 6 months or more, in advance: Deposit up to 25% is non-refundable. 75% is refundable if cancelled more than 4 months prior to trip. 50% is refundable if cancelled 3-4 months prior to trip. 35% is refundable if cancelled 30-90 days prior to trip. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 30 days prior to trip.

2.Trips booked 3-6 months in advance: Deposit up to 25% is non-refundable. 50% is refundable if cancelled more than 3 months prior to trip. 35% is refundable if cancelled 30-90 days prior to trip. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 30 days prior to trip.

3.Trips booked 1-3 months in advance: Deposit up to 25% is non-refundable. 35% is refundable if cancelled 30-90 days prior to trip. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 30 days prior to trip.

4. Limitations of liabilities – Payments of deposit or full payment means that clients have read, understand and agrees to all terms, policies and condition as stated in this text.

Fishing and travelling to and in Iceland, involves outdoor activities, sometimes in remote places and by rivers and lakes. It can carry a risk for those who participate. By travelling and taking part in such a trip you acknowledge that you accept these hazard as a condition of your participation.

R&R slf. assume no responsibility, how ever caused, for injury, loss or damage to their clients person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from; Natural disasters, strikes, thefts, delays, force majeure, government restrictions or regulations or any delay caused by unforeseen circumstances that R&R slf. has no control over.

All photos taken on the trip, by guides from Anglers.is, belongs to Anglers.is and we may use them in publicity purpose. We will send you album from the trip, if you want to.
