River Eyjafjardara
Eyjafjardara is more than 70 kilometers long, running north through the beautiful valley of Eyjafjordur. It joins the ocean close to Akureyri. The river is easily accessable by roads 821 and 829. It is renowned for it´s big Arctic Char but in recent years, Sea Trout has been catching they eye of Anglers. Big Sea Trout and Big Char is a great combination. You can also expect to find brown trout ad occasional salmon.
The river is divided into 5 beats with two rods fishing each beat. As the fishing is in much demand it is prudent to plan well ahead well before your arrival.
